BONITA ELY: NOW THE HEART IS FILLED WITH GOLD AS IF IT WERE A PURSE, ARTS PROJECT AUSTRALIA

 

Taking its title from Tears of Rage, a song by Bob Dylan and The Band, 'now the heart is filled with gold as if it were a purse' is an exhibition at Arts Project Australia curated by Glenn Barkley. The exhibition includes work by Bonita Ely, including her 1982 work A Mother Shows Her Daughter to the Universe (outer space). Touching upon themes of love, romance and family, the exhibition runs until 28 November 2014. Read more.
