JEMIMA WYMAN AT MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART, LOS ANGELES
Posted 25/01/2012
As a member of collaborative Camlab, Jemima Wyman will present work as part of the MOCA Engagement Party program. CamLab will present three new projects, in the form of interactive installations using fabric and language, which will cultivate exchanges between museum-goers. Encouraging both a physical engagement with materials as well as a heightened awareness of the relationship of one’s body to those of others, CamLab’s works will transform MOCA’s spaces into laboratories for experimenting with social interconnectivity. CamLab is a collaboration between Jemima Wyman and Anna Mayer begun at the California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, in 2005.
