Posted 17/05/2016
Brisbane City Council has unveiled a new, ambitious public artwork by Brisbane-based Luke Roberts. Entitled 'Poinsettia Riverfire', the sculpture is based on the sinous floral emblem of Brisbane, introduced to Queensland from its native Mexico in 1930. Situated permanently in Emma Miller Place on Roma Street, Brisbane CBD, the work is visible behind the Commonwealth Law Courts.
