MY COUNTRY: CONTEMPORARY ART FROM BLACK AUSTRALIA

'My Country: Contemporary Art from Black Australia' opens tomorrow Friday 28 March at Auckland Art Gallery Toi O Tamaki. The exhibition presents over 100 works by over 40 artists, including Gordon Bennett, Vernon Ah Kee, Richard Bell, Judy Watson and Gordon Hookey. My Country showcases the breadth of recent work by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, and the connections the artists have with their land and nation.
