Vernon Ah Kee is representing Australia at this year's Venice Biennale, as part of the group exhibition Once Removed. Curated by Felicity Fenner, the works selected for Once Removed address themes of displacement, environmental concerns and Indigenous issues. Ah Kee is presenting a version of his installation cant chant, comprising a three channel video projection, text paintings and customised surfboards.
