JEMIMA WYMAN: INNER VOICES @ 21ST CENTURY MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART, KANAZAWA
Jemima Wyman's work features in an exhibition currently on display at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, Japan. Curated by the Museum's senior curator, Hiromi Kurosawa, Inner Voices is a group exhibition devoted to women artists who are personally casting off the values and paradigms of conventional reality in their endeavor to create an alternative reality. The exhibition will listen to the creative expression or “inner voices” of those artists who, while appearing to focus on their individual lives, are in fact attempting—through experimentation and aggressive action—to transcend conservative perceptions of the divides and diversity they discover in their confrontation with reality. Inner Voices, 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, Japan, June 30 - November 6 2011. For more information: http://www.kanazawa21.jp/data_list.php?g=79&d=83&lng=e
