Marking 40 years since Kennedy exhibited groundbreaking, socially engaged moving-image works at Australian Experimental Art Foundation in 1976, AEAF is proud to present Resistance: Peter Kennedy, the first survey of the artist’s work, focusing on a selection from his video and performance practice produced since the 1970s to now. Over this time technology has advanced in quantum leaps and this exhibition affords us the opportunity to consider the legacy of an artist who has made an important contribution to Australian video art.
