Opening 3 October 2015 at REDCAT, Los Angeles, Hotel Theory presents a historical overview of artists and practices that question how art spaces contribute to theoretical debates. A number of paintings by Louise Hearman, Rosslynd Piggott's High Bed 1998, and Stuart Ringholt's Baroque Chair 2015 will be on display at the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne as part of the exhibition Lurid Beauty: Australian Surrealism and it's Echoes. The exhibition traces the development of Surrealism in Australian art, juxtaposing historical and contemporary work.  The exhibition runs from the 9 October 2015 until 31 January 2016.
