VERNON AH KEE: 'A CHANGE IS GONNA COME', NATIONAL MUSEUM OF AUSTRALIA
The work of Vernon Ah Kee features as part of 'A Change is Gonna Come' at the National Museum of Australia, opening 24 May 2017. Inspired by the 1964 civil rights song of the same name, this exhibition invites visitors to consider the 1967 referendum and the 1992 Mabo decision within the context of their time, through events that led to and followed these significant moments.
