Richard Bell and Emory Douglas: 'Black Power Posters - Impact and Influence', UQ Art Museum
The University of Queensland Visual Politics Research Group and the University of Queensland Art Museum will present a seminar on 'Black Power Posters – Impact and Influence' featuring Emory Douglas and his Australian collaborator, artist Richard Bell. The discussion panel will include UQ’s Roland Bleiker, Professor of International Relations, and Sally Butler (Associate Professor of Art History). 6pm on Thursday 8 March, attendance is free and places are limited, rsvp essential.

Richard Bell & Emory Douglas: Edge of Elsewhere
Richard Bell and Emory Douglas have collaborated on a mural for the exhibition Edge of Elsewhere at the Campbelltown Arts Centre, Sydney. Bell and Douglas worked with children from the local community on the mural, which was commissioned by Campbelltown Arts Centre as part of the second Edge of Elsewhere project.
