1970s – 1984 Pope Alice performance have taken place from the late 1970s, including Pope Alice presents Luke Roberts at the Spring Hill Gallery in 1980. Pope Alice made a press appearance for the launch of Luke Roberts exhibition, as well as appearing in various locations around the city including King George Square and was a special guest on opening night, who opened the show.
