Khadim Ali has been included in the major exhibition 'Bearing Points - Dhaka Art Summit 2018', curated by Diana Campbell Betancourt. DAS 2018 puts Bangladesh at the centre of its own cartography rather than at the periphery of someone else’s, recalibrating how we think about art in South Asia by focusing on the increased inclusion of minority positions and conflicted terrains. THE NATIONAL 2017: WEBSITE GOES LIVES
'The National' 2017 has launched its website dedicated to its upcoming triennial exhibition, profiling the artists featured including Khadim Ali, Richard Bell, Gordon Bennett, Dale Harding, Gordon Hookey, Tom Nicholson, Raquel Ormella, Khaled Sabsabi, and Jemima Wyman. The site also includes essays by the exhibition curators providing an introduction to the exhibition concept.
Khadim Ali - 2016 Western Sydney Arts Fellowship
Khadim Ali has been awarded the Western Sydney Arts Fellowship for 2016. Director of Arts NSW said the award was for Khadim Ali's miniature paintings which assert themselves with contemporary themes of displacement, war and refuge. Read more here.
The National 2017
In 2017 the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Carriageworks and Museum of Contemporary Art will present The National: New Australian Art. KHADIM ALI: SHORTLISTED FOR NSW VISUAL ARTS FELLOWSHIP
Khadim Ali has been shortlisted for the 2017 NSW Visual Arts Fellowship. The recipient will be announced on December 1 and the prize includes $30,000, an acquisitive Artbank commission up to $20,000 and a residency at a NSW regional gallery. Read more.

Khadim Ali: Landlock
Khadim Ali is currently featured in the exhibition Landlock at Casula Powerhouse, Sydney. The exhibition explores a parallel geographrical relationship between Afghanistan and Australia – one being surrounded entirely by sea and the other by land mass – and the resulting shared political dialogues about the environment occurring between the two regions.
