Orange Trumpet, a vinyl release of The Deadnotes' early recordings, will be launched at the Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane, 5 November at 7pm. The Deadnotes, including Eugene Carchesio and Sandra Selig, will perform at the event. For more information:http://www.ima.org.au/pages/news.php

Richard Bell at Location One

An exhibition of Richard Bell's work will go on display at Location One, New York in October. Curated by Maura Reily,  Richard Bell: I Am Not Sorry will feature works from the early 1990s through to the present, and will be accompanied by a new publication on Bell's work.  Bell is also the recipient of Location One's International Fellowship for 2009-10. Awarded to an outstanding mid career or established artist by Location One's international committee, Bell will begin the ten month residency in New York this October.
