Works by Natalya Hughes, Gemma Smith and Jemima Wyman feature in the exhibition 'Quaternary' at QUT Art Museum, Brisbane. 'Quaternary' is the second iteration of QUT's triennial exhibition series, which highlights the individual sucesses of graduates in contemporary arts practice both nationally and internationally. Works on paper by Peter Burgess, Sandra Selig and Madonna Staunton are included in the group exhibition 'Streetwise: Contemporary Print Culture' at the National Gallery of Australia. The exhibtion is a survey of the last fifteen years of print making in Australia, featuring over 40 contemporary printmakers from across the country. 'Streetwise: Contemporary Print Culture' runs 1 May until 7 August.
VERNON AH KEE & RICHARD BELL: BLAKOUT, SYDNEY COLLEGE OF THE ARTS, UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY
Video works by Vernon Ah Kee and Richard Bell are included in a group exhibition at the Sydney College of the Arts entitled 'BLAKOUT'. 'BLAKOUT' highlights Indigenous artists in Australia utilising video as the medium to expand beyond the confines of the painting practices which have dominated the field of Indigenous contemporary art over the past thirty years. ROBERT HUNTER: THE DISTILLATION OF LIGHT, LATROBE REGIONAL GALLERY, VICTORIA
Two works by the late Robert Hunter will feature in the exhibition 'The Distillation of Light' at the Latrobe Regional Gallery, Victoria. Exhibited alongside the work of Suzanne Moss, the Hunter's works and the exhibition in general considers his fascination with where colour begins and where it ends, how it resonates and its impact on perception and experience. The exhibition opens 16 May and runs until 12 July 2015.
GORDON BENNETT: CROSS POSE, UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND ART MUSEUM
The work of Gordon Bennett is included in an upcoming group exhibition 'Cross Pose: Body language against the grain' at the University of Queensland Art Museum, Brisbane. Curated by Dr Sally Butler, the exhibition brings together Australian artworks from The University of Queensland Art Collection that draw on the human body as expressions of cross-cultural subjectivities and visual politics. The exhibition runs 15 May to 9 August.

The work of Vernon Ah Kee, Richard Bell, Peter Kennedy and Raquel Ormella features as part of the upcoming group exhibition 'See you at the barricades' at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney. Opening 30 May, the exhibition calls attention to a ‘dissident aesthetic’ emerging in contemporary art. Increasingly, artists are adapting images of 20th-century protest movements, using flags and banners, and re-enacting historical protests.

New work by Khaled Sabsabi will feature as part of exhibition 24 Frames Per Second at Carriageworks, Sydney from 18 June to 2 August 2015. The exhibition will present twenty-four commissioned screen-based works by Australian and international artists, showcasing the dynamic and innovative quality of artists whose practice sits at the nexus of dance, film and visual arts.

TOM NICHOLSON: A Breathcrystal, Project Arts Centre, Dublin, Ireland
The work of Tom Nicholson features as part of the upcoming exhibition 'Breathcrystal' at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin from 24 April to 30 May. The exhbition developed from an original research project inspired by prehistoric Australian paintings and is concered with ideas of contamination, cross-bred categories and hybrid modes of sense-making.
JUDY WATSON: INDIGENOUS AUSTRALIA - ENDURING CIVILISATION, BRITISH MUSEUM, LONDON
The work of Judy Watson features as part of the ambitious exhibition 'Indigenous Australia - Enduring Civilisation' at the British Museum from 23 April to 2 August. The exhibition is the first major exhibition in the UK to present a history of Indigenous Australia through objects, and will celebrate the cultural strength and resilience of both Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islanders.
