Art + Soul on ABC 1
Richard Bell and Judy Watson feature in a new documentary series screening on ABC1. Written and presented by Hetti Perkins, curator of Indigenous art at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Art + Soul is a three part documentary series that considers the practice of a number of leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from across the country. The series is accompanied by a major new publication from Melbourne University Press, as well as an exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Art + Soul, ABC1, Thursday, 8:30 pm.
Light from Light
Eugene Carchesio will present new work in Light from Light, an upcoming exhibition at the State Library of Queensland and the Shanghai Library, China. Multi Media Art Asia Pacific (MAAP) have commissioned 11 Australian and international artists to make 20 site specific works to be embedded within the collection and reading spaces across both libraries, providing a unique exhibition experience.
Vernon Ah Kee exhibition at City Gallery

Raquel Ormella: Aichi Triennale
Raquel Ormella has been selected to create and present a major new work in the inaugural Aichi Trienniale in Nagoya, Japan. Ormella is exhibiting a new video work at the Nagoya City Art Museum that considers the relationship between humans and wild birds in Japanese cities. Jus' Drawn
