Ross Manning: Survey Exhibition 'Dissonant Rhythms', IMA, Brisbane
'Dissonant Rhythms' is Ross Manning's first survey exhibition. Best known for his use of everyday materials, Manning’s major exhibition features sculptures that repurpose ceiling fans, fluorescent tubes, and overhead projectors, creating exquisite interplays of light and sound. The four-gallery exhibition will be complemented by the publication of his first monograph published by the IMA, accompanied by a vinyl LP, released by IMA and Room40.

ROSS MANNING: DARK MOFO
Dark Mofo, the Museum of Old and New Art's winter arts festival has officially opened in Hobart. Running until 22 June 2014, the program includes work by Ross Manning in a series of subterranean spaces across the historic city. ROSS MANNING: VIVID + MCA ARTBAR
Ross Manning presents two new projects in Sydney.
'Dichroic Dimensions', an interactive and collaborative projection work with Digital Shamans as part of VIVID, the city's annual festival of light, art and music. Projected on to the iconic facade of the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia, participants in 'Dichroic Dimensions' are invited to use their own voice to control and shape the imagery. The work is free and open to the public from 6pm nightly and runs until 9 June. Read more.

Ross Manning has been announced as one of the participants in DARK MOFO, a project of the Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Hobart. Manning will present recent works including Dichroic filter piece 2013-14 and Sad Magick 2009 in disused and abandoned tunnels beneath Hobart. BIENNALE OF SYDNEY
Opening next Friday 21 March, the 19th Biennale of Sydney features 90 artists from 31 countries. As part of Juliana Engberg's artistic direction 'You Imagine What You Desire', Daniel McKewen and Ross Manning will be presenting work across a variety of venues. Eugene Carchesio & Ross Manning: Foundation's Edge
Eugene Carchesio and Ross Manning have works in the exhibiton Foundation's Edge: Artists and Technology at QUT from 16 March - 26 May 2013. The exhibition takes a look at the exploitation, deconstruction, and reworking of commercial technologies to their own creative ends. Both artists performed at the opening of the exhibiton on Friday, 15 March.

Ross Manning: Double Refraction - Lismore regional Gallery 24 April - 29 May
Ross Manning is exhibiting at Lismore Regional Gallery 24 April to 29 may. Opens Friday 23 April, 5:30 for 6pm. He looks beyond the original function of his electronic materials (such as screens and projectors) to produce mesmerising artworks made from refracted light. On Saturday April 24 from 6-7:30pm, he will give a live performance with sound-making machines, some acoustic, some electronic, some unclassified. Lights, gizmos, gadgets.
