On January 17 and 18 Stuart Ringholt will perform his third series of naked art tours following tours at the IMA and ACCA. Preceded by a tour of the show by artist Stuart Ringholt. (The artist will be naked. Those who wish to join the tour must also be naked. Adults Only) (2012) is the title of the work. And the content of it. But for the sake of clarity: Stuart will take you on a naked tour of MONA. Changing facilities provided.

Stuart Ringholt has been selected as a finalist in the Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture 2011, currently on display at Federation Sqaure. Ringholt is one of 6 finalists for the $60 00 prize, with his work Do you want to talk about sculpture? 2011.  For each day of the prize exhibition, Ringholt will take a different object such as a mirror ball or kitchen table into Federation Square, and ask people "Do you want to talk about sculpture?" Parallel Collisions: 2012 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art

Richard Bell has been selected for the 2012 Adelaide Biennial of Australian art. Curated by Alexie Glass-Kantor and Natasha Bullock Parallel Collisions will "explore ways in which ideas emerge, coonverge and re-form through time". Richard Bell will create a site specific wall painting for the exhibition.

Bonita Ely: A Different Temporality @ MUMA

Work by Bonita Ely will be on display at the Monash University Museum of Art later this month, as part of an historical exhibition of feminist art. A Different Temporality brings together feminist approaches to temporality in the visual arts, with a focus on late 1970s and early 1980s Australia. The exhibition is presented in association with the Melbourne Festival, and will be accompanied by a full colour publication, with an essay by the exhibition's curator, Dr. Kyla McFarlane. 13 October - 17 December, 2011.

Vernon Ah Kee: Tall Man at Gertrude Contemporary

Presented in partnership with Melbourne Festival, Vernon Ah Kee's Tall Man will be exhibited at Gertrude Contemporary. This powerful 4-channel work is of crucial importance to Australia. Tall Man tells the story of the 2004 Palm Island riots that occurred in response to the death in custody of Cameron Doomadgee, who was the 147th Aboriginal person to die in custody since 1990.
